Wifebeater

In the UK, tanktops were long called "wifebeaters," and the term now is in common American usage, too. It's actually rather nasty, considering what it implies. After all, many respectable men wear them, including respectable studs who have no need for a wife or women. Such men look particularly hot wearing nothing at all except for a tanktop.
