The reality is that the entire economy only created about 6.2 million jobs since Trump was sworn into office. Many if not most of those jobs have now vanished, of course, thanks to the economic collapse that has been greatly exacerbated by Trump's disastrous handling of the coronavirus crisis.
When Trump tells such obvious lies like this, does he actually believe anyone believes him? That would require truly delusional thinking. Or does he know they're bullshit but his utter lack of a impulse control prevents him from shutting up?
