      Any kind of porn is illegal in many countries, and gay porn (but not straight porn) is illegal in some more. In countries and jurisdictions where porn is legal, some ban BDSM outright while others ban certain BDSM acts. In some US states, for instance, sex while one or more of the participants is bound is illegal.
