Moore has made many offensive public statements about women, African-Americans, other minorities, and LGBT persons. While a sitting judge and, later, state supreme court justice, he repeatedly called for criminal prosecution of LGBT people simply because of their sexuality.
Moore has also openly advocating turning America in to a Christian state and forcing adherence to a fundamentalist interpretation of the Bible. He essentially wants to turn the United States into the Christian version of Iran.
Moore is currently running as the Republican candidate for the open senate seat from Alabama. During his campaign, he has called for the government to take a number of stances that would both be illegal and unconstitutional. And he has never stopped railing against LGBT Americans. He has also regularly praised Donald Trump.
Yesterday, The Washington Post broke the story (link here) that at least four women have accused Moore of improper sexual contact when they were teenagers, one of whom was fourteen at the time and below the legal age of consent in Alabama. Each of these women has extensive corroboration of their charges dating from the time of the alleged offenses.
Moore has refused to withdraw as a candidate, flatly denied the allegations, and claimed they're "fake news" -- Trump's favorite term -- to smear him.
Republicans in Congress are not rallying to support Moore. Long before this story broke, they viewed him as an extremist embarrassment to the party. A number of them have now made cautious public statements about Moore stepping aside.
Quite honestly, it's no surprise Moore could do something like this. A closer look at many religious zealots and vocal homophobes will reveal they're using bombastic statements as cover of their own abhorrent behavior.
The Alabama special election is a month away. Before this scandal broke, Moore was leading in polls. How this will be played out is too soon to tell.
But don't ever forget: The Republican Party holds itself out as the family values party. How will they handle this crisis?

As in Catholic sex scandals, the TRUTH is more outrageous because coming out from the ones who spoke them as being such «SAINTS» but had shown themselves to be the WORST SINNERS....
FAKE aren't the news but themselves as FAKE PERSONALITIES.
