The Aftermath

Last night brought some surprises but also many expected outcomes. The Democrats took the House of Representatives, which is the best news of all. Some odious anti-LGBT conservatives appear headed for defeat, too.

The GOP was bloodied and battered but not without some relatively easy victories. Their toxic message failed big in moderate and left-leaning parts of the country but still held strong in the hardcore conservative regions.

Victory in the House brings two key advantages: Trump's legislative agenda is dead and investigations of him and his administration will very much be alive.

We're in for two very interesting years. The new House will be seated on January 3, 2019. Stay tuned and stay active.
