Donald Trump's campaign has threatened to sue CNN unless they retract a poll the latter commissioned and publicized which shows the President, if the election were held today, would lose by a landslide (details here).

CNN, not surprisingly, told the campaign their laughably absurd demand would be ignored.

It's difficult to fathom why the campaign did this. Is Trump's eggshell ego so fragile that he cannot handle bad news? Or did they think this would somehow discredit the poll?

Whatever the answer, the incident reflects very badly on Trump. A man so delicate and easily upset should not be in a demanding job like the American presidency. He needs to be retired on Election Day.
