Meanwhile, in Scotland

A key minister in the Scots parliament is urging the government to open a criminal investigation into the sources of Donald Trump's funds to purchase two golf resorts in Scotland (details here).

Formally, the minister is asking the government to seek what is known as an "unexplained-wealth order" which would compel Trump to provide proof of the funding source. When evoked, this is a legal requirement used to combat suspected money laundering.

If Trump refuses, then the government can seize the property in question.

The matter has now passed to the First Minister to decide how to proceed. The First Minister is the equivalent of a prime minister.

As a partly antonymous state incorporated within Great Britain, Scotland has exclusive control over decisions on this matter. This means Trump could not apply political pressure on the British Prime Minister, because the latter is powerless to stop a Scots unexplained-wealth order. And Trump is decidedly unliked in Scotland, too, so all the more incentive to get this ball rolling.

A New Whistleblower

Late yesterday, both the New York Times and the Washington Post concurrently broke the highly disturbing story (link here and here) that government health workers treating those in the American coronavirus quarantines lacked proper training and protective gear "then scattered into the general population." Those workers never received later testing for the virus itself, either.

Per one of the reports, "the whistleblower is seeking federal protection because she alleges she was unfairly and improperly reassigned after raising concerns about the safety of these workers" to Health and Human Services senior officials, including Donald Trump's HHS Secretary.

One of the quarantine facilities is housed at Travis Air Force Base in California. Per one article "the first American case of coronavirus in a patient with no known contact with hot zones or other coronavirus patients emerged near Travis Air Force Base this week."

This situation is reflective of the haphazard, careless, and disorganized response by Trump and his senior leadership to the growing health crisis. As one of the linked articles notes, "the whistleblower’s account raised questions about whether the Trump administration has taken adequate precautions in its handling of the virus to date, and whether [the President's] minimization of the risks has been mirrored by other top officials when confronted with potentially disturbing developments."

The coronavirus is highly contagious. In China, one coronavirus sufferer alone is known to have infected thousands of other people. If widespread infections occur in this country, it may well be because they were first caused by the Trump administration's extreme incompetence in responding to this crisis.

Virus

The number of people worldwide infected by the new coronavirus continues to grow daily. Many experts are predicting we haven't seen anywhere near the worst yet as new cases keep popping up all over the world.

The impact on the world economy is getting darker each day, and some experts believe the outbreak could cause a worldwide recession. Accordingly, the American stock has dropped by more than 2,000 points over the last three days in response to the virus threat.

The US Center for Disease Control is warning the virus may spread and quickly within the United States. "It's not so much a question of if this will happen anymore but rather more a question of exactly when," a CDC official was quoted as saying. "Prepare for the expectation that this might be bad."

Donald Trump, who has no medical training nor experience, says everything is fine. He bellows that any negative coverage of the virus in the United States is "fake news." He insists the virus will be going away soon but definitely by April. He has spent more time on the topic bashing Democrats and the media than describing his administration's response.

There may be a reason for that — it's because his administration is in chaos on this issue and the pandemic response staff was hollowed out to almost nothing by his administration. In short, the government is totally unprepared if a large number of coronavirus cases appear in the United States.

Vox published an excellent albeit disturbing piece on Tuesday (link here) with the title "Trump’s flailing incompetence makes coronavirus even scarier" and the secondary title of "America’s pandemic response capabilities have been systematically dismantled." Bottom line: people may die because of Trump's incompetence and corruption.

Hopefully America will weather this possible crisis in the best way possible. But don't look for leadership or honesty from Trump if the shit hits the fan. He'll be busy trying to blame his administration's incompetence on someone else.

Collin Returns

The big beefy bottom here goes by Collin in porn world and perhaps in the real world, too. He originally appeared here on the blog in 2016 when he wasn't quite so beefy. He's 24, stands 5'10, and weighs 200 pounds.

The originals for these photos are larger than they appear below and are part of a collection featuring more than six hundred images from sixteen different hardcore shoots released all within the last three days. To download the complete set with every photo, click here.

Yet Another New Low

Yesterday, Donald Trump sunk to a new low when he lashed out in public at two sitting Supreme Court justices, calling them out repeatedly by name on both Twitter and at a press conference (details here and here).

In a presidency filled with many new lows, this is the first time Trump has directly named and attacked a sitting justice.

This could just be Trump madness, with the President lashing out for attention or to rile up his base.

But I wonder if it's something much more sinister: is Trump laying the foundation for ignoring the outcome when the court rules a against him in a pending case later this year? By claiming that two justices should always recuse themselves from any case involving him, is he teeing up to question the high court's very legitimacy?

If he does that, will Republicans on Capitol Hill once again give him a free pass?

The Vendetta

On Sunday, the New York Times published an important piece (link here) about how Donald Trump has corrupted the US Attorney's office. Talking Points Memo published a good follow-up piece yesterday (link here).

In short, Trump retaliated against a veteran US Attorney because she failed to prosecute one of his enemies and also prosecuted a member of his administration. The US Attorney's office is supposed to be immune from political influence, but the Attorney General is ignoring that precedent — he amazingly clings to precedent when it helps the President but instantly discards it when it does not.

The US Attorney in question is only one victim of many in Trump's administration-wide vendetta now underway targeting anyone who testified against him, spoke out against him, criticized him, or is generally suspected of being disloyal. That effort in part is being steered by a sitting Supreme Court justice's wife in a grossly inappropriate conflict of interest.

Meanwhile, Republicans on Capitol Hill sit by and pretend this escalating corruption isn't happening. Democrats, for their part, are speaking out, but both parties are needed to pass any sort of reform legislation, so of course that won't be happening.

The GOP needs to change its name. It's now the Banana Republican Party. They also need to be voted out of office.

Bouncing Back

Politico published a thought-provoking article last week (link here) with the title "Why the Presidency Can’t Just Go Back to 'Normal' After Trump" and the deck title of "The 'norms and traditions' that Trump has incinerated aren't timeless features of American democracy; they're actually quite new — and brittle."

Specifically, the author speculates that things like White House news briefings, independent courts, nonpartisan law enforcement agencies, and a nonpartisan civil service won't automatically bounce back to the way they were at the end of President Obama's administration once Trump leaves office. The damage will take both a conscious effort and time to repair.

In my opinion, that process will be faster and more painless if Trump is defeated this November. That would mean he'd be followed by a Democrat who would likely return institutions back to the way they were. However, that process will be much more difficult if Trump remains in office for two terms and then is followed by a Democrat.

And it would be even worse if Trump was followed by another Republican. Since the 1950s, a political party has only once held the presidency through three terms.

After the Teapot Dome scandal of the early 1920s, America healed itself. The same happened again after Watergate in the 1970s. The country will recover from Trump, but the longer he remains in office, the longer that recovery will take.

Yet another reason to soundly defeat Trump on Election Day, which is now a little over eight months away.

Austin's Afternoon Delight

The big strapping top here is Austin, who has been featured on this blog before. He stands 6'4, weighs 235, and will turn 37 in April. He's almost exclusively topped onscreen and only bottomed once in the eight years he's been doing porn.

Loyalty Over All

In March 2018, Donald Trump's personal aide John McEntee was abruptly fired and removed from the White House because he failed to pass a security background check due to undisclosed gambling debts.

Last month, however, Trump waived his security clearance requirement and brought him back, then quickly promoted him to head of administration personnel. McEntee was one of several Trump loyalists brought back to the administration.

McEntee has quickly established the highest priority for working in this administation — loyalty to Trump. He's also undertaken an administration-wide hunt to remove anyone considered disloyal to the President (details here).

So loyalty to the Constitution no longer matters. Same for loyalty to the rule of law. And loyalty to the betterment of America.

It's just about Trump and nothing but Trump.

Shades of a banana republic.

Delayed Reaction

Here's a super hot scene featuring two big musclestud tops with a smaller, willing bottom who gets fucked to within an inch of his life. The Manipulator

The New Yorker will publish a fascinating but disturbing article next week (already online, link here) profiling Stephen Miller, Donald Trump's immigration specialist who has links to white supremacists.

The piece is titled "How Stephen Miller Manipulates Donald Trump to Further His Immigration Obsession" and the deck title is "Donald Trump's senior adviser has been the true driving force behind this Administration's racist agenda. How far will he go?"

Miller is a deeply, deeply disturbed individual who gives every indication he is a sociopath. Not withstanding he is descended from early twentieth century immigrants and refugees, he has a pathological hatred of immigration. He doesn't just want to end illegal immigration. He wants to end all immigration.

The article makes him sound like a pathetic loser and perhaps that fuels his hate. At one point in a meeting, when he became angered when discussing how to severely limit asylum seekers, Miller admitted "It's just that this is all I care about. I don't have a family. I don't have anything else. This is my life."

Sacked

Donald Trump abruptly fired his director of national intelligence yesterday in a rage, not because of his job performance, but because he thought the man was disloyal for telling Congress that Russia would prefer to see the President re-elected (details here).

The episode aptly demonstrates how the paranoid Trump ranks personal loyalty above all other qualities. It doesn't matter if your work poses a risk to America's national security, as long as you are slavishly loyal to him, as if he was the monarch.

Trump named the current ambassador to Germany, Richard Grenell, to serve as acting director of national intelligence, effective immediately. Grenell is well known in Washington as being slavishly loyal to Trump.

Per the linked article: "Grenell’s appointment is likely to exacerbate tensions between the president and members of the intelligence community, who have been frequent targets of Trump’s ire. Current and former officials questioned Grenell’s qualifications to lead the intelligence agencies and said his loyalty to Trump appeared to be the reason for his appointment.

"'Nothing in Grenell’s background suggests that he has the skill set or the experience to be an effective leader of the intelligence community,' said Nicholas J. Rasmussen, who was the director of the National Counterterrorism Center under Trump and President Barack Obama... His chief attribute seems to be that President Trump views him as unfailingly loyal — hardly sufficient to make someone qualified to perform the duties of the DNI."

Grenell is openly albeit quietly gay, one of only a handful of LGBT appointees in Trump's administration. With a presidency so hostile to LGBT rights and one that actively seeks to roll back LGBT advances and to return LGBT Americans to a second-class status with fewer rights, it's amazing any LGBT person would serve an administration that finds them so repugnant.

The Offer

The lawyer for Julian Assange, currently fighting extradition from London to the United States to face criminal espionage charges, claimed in a court filing yesterday that Donald Trump offered to pardon his client if Assange said Russia had no role in the 2016 Democratic National Committee email leaks (details here).

When determining whether someone is lying about a matter like this, we must first consider how he or she could possibly benefit from being dishonest. I can't see any here. If the lawyer is lying, he's scuttled any chance of an actual pardon, so why would he do that?

The behavior is very much in keeping with Trump these days: since the sham Senate trial of abuse of power, the President has been caught several times engaging in quid pro quoa in recent days, now that Senate Republicans have roved too gutless to constrain him.

And finally, Trump trying to protect Russia is bizarrely in keeping with behavior he's exhibited ever since the election. (He must have borrowed a hell of a lot from them to finance his real estate holdings.)

So all in all, the story seems likely. And it's more than likely the Senate will do absolutely nothing about it to learn more.

Eddy and Teddy

This is a very hot pairing of two strapping musclestuds. Both are versatile so I don't know why they didn't flip-flop here. Maybe one or the other just wasn't in the mood.
