Common Sense

Last week, Donald Trump said what might be the stupidest thing ever to come out of a President's mouth. He said (source here):

"When you test, you have a case. When you test, you find something is wrong with people. If we didn't do any testing, we would have very few cases. They don't want to write that. It's common sense."

No, it isn't common sense, you blithering idiot. The person is still infected whether you test him or not. And without testing, he comes into contact with other people and spreads the disease to them. But if you test and know he's infected, you isolate him and fewer people are infected. That's common sense, dipshit.

Trump's moronic statement reveals what he really thinks, however. He doesn't give a shit if you or I are infected and die. He doesn't care if we spread the disease.

He just wants a lower number of infections, even if it's absurdly inaccurate. Because a lower number looks better for him. That's all he cares about.

This man must be voted out of office on November 3 before he kills us all.
