Horror

Yesterday, The Guardian published a candid piece (link here) about how Donald Trump's flailing and failing mismanagement of the coronavirus crisis has nearly completely destroyed the world's favorable impression of America.

The article is titled "World looks on in horror as Trump flails over pandemic despite claims US leads way" with a deck title of "The president’s outlandish behavior as Americans suffer has inspired horror and confusion while alienating allies."

America's favorability plummeted under George W. Bush, notably because of his cowboy invasion of Iraq. It rose sharply under President Obama, likely part of the reason he was awarded a Nobel Price.

But under Trump, support has absolutely collapsed. America is viewed as a failed state.

Hopefully, its reputation will begin to be restored by defeating Trump on November 3. Or has he taken it beyond the breaking point?
