Yesterday, the
New York Times published an excellent interactive feature (link
here) about the many other criminal investigations that have grown out of the Robert Mueller investigation. So while the Mueller probe will not lead to criminal charges against Donald Trump, any one of these others -- or several or all -- could lead to more serious criminal charges once he left office.
In coming months, media coverage about these investigations and prosecutions may bring a drip, drip, drip of new allegations that are particularly damaging to the President. That's why his constant crowing about getting a total vindication by the still-unseen Mueller report is particularly stupid -- he's only cleared one of many hurdles.
