More ominously, the third alleged victim came forward and, through her attorney, identified herself by name and told her story (details here). She alleged that Kavanaugh attended parties "where women were verbally abused, inappropriately touched, made disoriented with alcohol or drugs, and gang raped."
More seriously, she claimed that Kavanaugh was seen "lining up outside a bedroom where numerous boys were waiting for their turn with a girl inside the room." Whether that sexual contact was consensual or not was left unspecified.
She further said that she saw Kavanaugh at least ten of these parties, that he drank excessively, and that he engaged in "abusive and physically aggressive behavior toward girls, including pressing girls against him without their consent, grinding against girls, and attempting to remove or shift girls’ clothing to expose private body parts."
As well, she specifically said she "witnessed efforts by [Kavanaugh friend] Mark Judge, Brett Kavanaugh, and others to cause girls to become inebriated and disoriented so they could then be gang raped in a side room or bedroom by a train of numerous boys."
Kavanaugh and at least one of his alleged victims -- and possibly as many as three -- are scheduled to testify in a public hearing today before the Senate Judiciary Committee about these charges. This will be a developing story. Stay tuned.
