Politico published an interesting article yesterday (link here) about how Donald Trump's frequent public use of obscenities -- particularly the word "goddam" -- is turning off his evangelical supporters to the point some are considering sitting out the 2020 election.

Well let's hope he keeps it up and gets even worse. Anything that encourages people not to vote for him is fine with me. Failing to vote is a vote for his opponent.

At the same time I'm struck by the fact that it took the word "goddam" for some of them to finally get off the penny. Bragging about pussy grabbing didn't do it. His serial adultery didn't do it. His savage cruelty didn't do it.

But one word did. Goddam.
