I Hereby Order

Several times on Friday during his Twitter meltdown, Donald Trump ordered people to do things, issuing commands like America is an absolute monarchy and he is the king.

"Our great American companies are hereby ordered to immediately start looking for an alternative to China," he tweeted at once point (details here). That sent the stock market off a cliff.

Shortly thereafter, he "ordered" in another tweet that shipping companies like FedEx and UPS had to search for and stop all deliveries of the powerfully addictive drug fentanyl. That sent their stocks into a tailspin.

Of course, he has no constitutional power to do this (details here). And this was not the first time he used Twitter to "order" others to do things he has no power to tell them to do.

Is he really so ignorant of presidential authority that he has no understanding of its limitations? Or does he simply like watching the stock market panic when he does things like this?

Whatever the answer, it only serves to further demonstrate how Trump is utterly unfit to serve as President.
