Masks repeatedly have been shown by scientific tests to be one of the most effective, if not the most effective, measures to slow the spread of Covid19. Yet Trump's administration in their idiocy routinely blocks common sense measures like this.
It's no wonder the United States has a far higher infection and death rate per capita than any first-world country as well as nearly all second- and third-world countries.
Trump and his enablers have repeatedly made war on masks, as if they're some kind of evil "liberal" conspiracy. His enmity toward masks was most visibly demonstrated when he returned to the White House earlier this week, still sick and contagious from his Covid infection, and made a big show of removing his mask on the Truman Balcony.
And yet Trump gives himself an A-plus grade on his abysmal handling of the coronavirus. If his woeful mismanagement is A-worthy, I'd hate to see what a failing grade looks like.
