The Associated Press published a candid, detailed examination last night (link here) about how conditions inside Donald Trump's White House have become far worse in the last two weeks.

The resignation of Hope Hicks this week, one of Trump’s most loyal and longest-serving aides, will remove the safety valve between a mercurial President and a cowering staff. Add to that mix the expected imminent departures of Chief of Staff John Kelly and National Security Advisor H. R. McMaster, the West Wing will be left without any stabilizing forces.

To make matters worse, time spent with the Trump administration has become a career liability and not a plus, so Trump will find it far more difficult to replace senior staffers without anyone experienced and competent.

And, of course, the looming and enlargening offstage presence of Special Counsel Robert Mueller and his team, who are conducting the criminal investigation of Trump and his associates, keeps spiking the anxiety level. Mueller has been widely reported to be now investigating Trump himself, his family, his business practices, and his potential obstruction of justice.

It's not like we weren't warned this would happen -- a chaotic and scandal-plagued businessman became chaotic and scandal-plagued candidate and now a chaotic and scandal-plagued President. It's all but impossible now to see how this could end well.

  1. With all you said and are pointing out since many days and weeks, it's nothing to make us secure when such a clown is in office.

With yesterday's Putin rally showing how Russia is getting heavily arming nuclear weapons there is more to be scared of «45»'s non predictable reactions.
More knowing that «HE» doesn't hear or read the intelligence reports.

On the economic side, the last goof is the iron and aluminum over taxes on their importations.
As a Canadian, for sure all his bad talks about the NAFTA and other trade accords are very destabilising.
«HE» doesn't, again, listen to the states governers and business men from the 35 states that are doing good business with us, Canadians.
But the worst, not mentioning that since this bad decision, NYC stock market is plunging from day to day,it will be the bad effect on the house and cars prices that will be rising because USA isn't self sufficient in lumber wood and iron and aluminum.

All of these facts and many other are getting everyone very nervous when Trumpty Dumpty opens his big mouth or is tweeting without any intelligent second advice.

It's more than time to get rid of this clown.
