The Fraud

On Tuesday, Donald Trump traveled to a manufacturing complex in Western Pennsylvania in what his administration called an "official White House event" to make it sound presidential, but it was really a taxpayer-funded campaign rally (details here).

Per the linked Associated Press article, "Trump turned much of it into a campaign-style rally, boasting of achievements he claims as President and assailing his would-be Democratic rivals for the 2020 election."

Trump's visit was an attempt by him to take credit as a jobs creator in a new facility that was started in 2012 when Barack Obama was President.

In other words, Trump had absolutely nothing to do with the facility, where construction started five years before he became President.

This incident perfectly demonstrates the sort of blatant fraud that characterizes everything Trump does. He holds a big celebration to take credit for someone else's achievement, turns it into a campaign rally, and sticks taxpayers for the bill.

The man has no sense of right and wrong, no sense of decency and fair play, no sense of honesty. He is a fraud to his core.
