The Stoker

David Graham at The Atlantic published a piece on Tuesday (link here) speculating about how Donald Trump's ever tightening embrace of racism this summer, notably after the death of George Floyd and shooting of Jacob Blake, has badly hurt him in both state and national polls.

I've said here more than a few times that often Trump is his own worst enemy. He's doing that once again now with his attempts to stoke racial antagonism.

I suspect he's doing this as a desperate attempt to deflect attention from his horrendous failure to fight the coronavirus pandemic, record unemployment, and economic collapse. He owns all three disasters and the majority of the blame. So he's in a slow burn panic and hoping you'll be distracted by anything he can throw in your path.

Don't be fooled. Don't be distracted. Don't forget all the damage and disasters Trump has caused.

The election is two months from today. Have you checked your voter registration to make certain it's current and valid. You can do so by clicking here.
