Untrustworthy

Donald Trump has made a number of statements about a Covid-19 vaccine being available by election day. Medical and scientific experts say that's extremely unlikely.

More than a few of them have publicly aired suspicions that Trump may try to rush an emerging vaccine through the FDA approval process by waving necessary testing another other standard requirements.

In Foreign Policy magazine, a Pulitzer Prize-winning science writer says not to trust any possible medical remedy that Trump might be pushing in a great piece (link here) titled "Trump’s Vaccine Can’t Be Trusted" and with the subtitle of "If a vaccine comes out before the election, there are very good reasons not to take it."

The number-one danger with a new vaccine that has not been fully tested is that, instead of protecting you against a certain virus, it actually gives you that virus.
