A Big Box of Nothing

Donald Trump continues to insist that "massive fraud" occurred during last week's election. He has yet to produce a shred of evidence for these claims because it doesn't exist.

Trump and his apologists had been trumpeting in recent days a claim by a postal worker in Pennsylvania that he had been ordered to backdate ballots. Turns out, that was all a big lie, and the postal worker has now admitted to investigators that he fabricated the story (details here).

Arizona is another state where Trump claims "massive fraud" occurred because voters were allowed to correct ballots that included mistakes. It turns out, no more than 180 ballots were involved (details here). Trump trails by more than 12,000 votes in Arizona, so even if a legitimate beef, 180 won't even make a dent.

Indeed, the New York Times contacted election officials in all fifty states. Every single one of them, Democrats and Republicans alike, said there were no voting irregularities last week (details here).

The public isn't buying Trump's lies. Nearly 80 percent of Americans say that Joe Biden is the incoming President, including a majority of Republicans (details here).

In the end, Trump is just postponing the inevitable. Nine legal experts were asked about the chances for Trump's lawsuits. The unanimous verdict: dead on arrival (details here).

Start packing your boxes, Donny. Your presidency is almost finished.
