Tick Tock

Donald Trump's presidency ends in sixty five days. With that in mind, the BBC yesterday published an article (link here) about the six legal cases that will define the first years of his post presidency.

Some potentially may involve criminal charges. Others could potentially involve significant financial peril. The second and third on the list of six represent the greatest danger for Trump. I surmise these two are the biggest reason for his doomed attempt to cling to the presidency.

On top of all this, Trump will need to refinance more than a billion dollars in debt during the first four years after his presidency. He has personally pledged more than $400 million in assets which may be forfeited if he cannot refinance all the debt, and he may also face both personal and business bankruptcy if he cannot meet all loans.

Some might say it was ghoulish to focus on the many dangers he faces once he leaves office. I disagree. He has made life miserable for countless millions. It's time to pay the piper.
