The Racist

Newsweek reported a story late last week (link here) about how a producer on television's "The Apprentice" alleged a few days earlier that Donald Trump made "unfathomably despicable" racist remarks during production of the program when he hosted the show.

The comments were reportedly all recorded on tape. All staff and crew were required to sign non-disclosure agreements upon Trump's demand, which likely has prevented release of the footage to date.

Women, Jews, and Blacks were reportedly all described in explicitly racist and derogatory terms by Trump.

"Out of those exchanges came some really unfathomably despicable words said by" Trump, the producer said in an interview on NPR. "I heard it. I watched it, and those [tapes] are somewhere in some warehouse."

Hopefully, some day soon these tapes will be released anonymously to the media. Trump explained away the so-called "pussy grab" footage with a dodge about "locker room talk," but offensively racist comments would be far more difficult to justify.

Of course, some would still support Trump no matter what. But those on the fence would likely not be so forgiving and finally decide they were not with the President.
